Ship your app when it's actually ready.
Give every release a checklist you trust. Nothing goes out half-done, and nothing important slips.
ShipWhenReady is a release checklist tool for indie app makers.
Indie apps rarely stall in the code. They stall in the last mile: the screenshots, the release notes, the build you keep meaning to submit.
How it works
-
01
Add a product
Add the app you're shipping, on the App Store, Google Play, or the web.
-
02
Plan a release
Start a version in draft. It sits there until you're ready to do the real work.
-
03
Work the checklist
Tick off each step as you go, and watch the bar fill up until the release is done.
Checklists that keep you honest
Every ShipWhenReady release gets a checklist, and a progress bar that shows exactly how close it is. Mark the steps that matter as required, and they can't be skipped by accident.
Every release, from draft to shipped
A ShipWhenReady release moves from draft, to in progress, to released. One glance tells you what's going out next and what's still waiting.
Wired into the repo you're already working in
Link a ShipWhenReady product to its GitHub repository, and a release to a milestone. The milestone's open issues then sit beside your checklists, so the code still in flight and the last-mile steps are on one page.
Keep your eyes on the finish line
ShipWhenReady does one thing: it gets your app out the door. There's no sprawling project board and no busywork. Just the next step, then the one after it.

Pricing questions
What counts as a product?
One app you ship, on the App Store, Google Play, or the web. Under it you get as many releases, checklists and items as you like, on both plans. Archived products don't count, so archiving one frees the slot.
What happens if I hit the free limit?
Nothing is hidden and nothing goes read-only. Everything you've already made stays visible and editable. The only thing blocked is adding another product, or restoring an archived one. Archive one to free the slot, or upgrade for unlimited.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancelling stops the renewal, and nothing else. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that the account goes back to Free, with every product still there and still editable.
How does billing work?
Prices are in USD. Stripe handles payments and tax. If your bank bills you in another currency, it converts. There's nothing to invoice, and no card on file until you upgrade.
